Job: Online Part-Time Instructor – English, Medicine Hat College (Deadline: 26 July 2022)

Medicine Hat College’s School of Arts, Science & Education invites applications for a part-time Instructor in our Humanities & Social Sciences Department for the Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 semesters. This is a part-time temporary position for online courses only in English for the 2022/2023 academic year.

A little about the role:

The primary workload will include instructing courses online to provide a quality learning experience to students. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in a variety of professional responsibilities and contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters the mission of the College and the success of our students. This position requires a passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.

As a successful candidate you will have:
  • Master’s degree in English; PhD preferred
  • Post-Secondary teaching experience in on-line formats
  • Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success and has a positive, appreciative and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
