Welcome to the Summer 2022 Issue of The Angle! This issue includes our Call for Panel Proposals for Congress 2023 (York University), the winners of the F. E. L. Priestley Prize, and the Minutes of the 2022 AGM. It also has details about the 2022 Graduate Student Caucus Survey, Member News, and even — conference photos!
The Summer 2022 issue marks the closure of the ACCUTE Office at Brock University. As of 1 July 2022, the ACCUTE Office will move to Lakehead University. We welcome Douglas Ivison as ACCUTE President and Cheryl Lousley, ACCUTE VP. They will join Board Members Sarah Banting (Priestley Prize), Gregory Betts (PP), Carellin Brooks (CAF), Krista Collier-Jarvis (GSC), Kit Dobson (CPC), Shazia Hafiz Ramji (CWC), Mark Kaethler (Colleges), Erin Knight (OC), Allan Pero (ESC), and Susie O’Brien (CACE). Together with our bevy of acronyms, we turn our energies towards preparations for Congress 2023 while continuing to promote the interests and attend to the concerns of our ACCUTE community.
We are now accepting submissions and proposals for the Fall issue of The Angle. To contribute poetry, short fiction, a research spotlight, or professional/critical reflections, please contact Erin Knight at info.accute@gmail.com.
