Conference Invitation: Planetary Drifts: Methodology, Technology and the Creative Imagination in the Age of Planetary Transformation (21-23 April 2022)

On behalf of the Center for Planetary Studies (CELCP) at the Université de Montréal, ACCUTE members are cordially invited to the upcoming conference Planetary Drifts: Methodology, Technology and the Creative Imagination in the Age of Planetary Transformation, which will be held on April 21-23, 2022, in hybrid mode at Université de Montréal and on Zoom.

Keynote speakers and artists include the historian and Dipesh Chakrabarty (University of Chicago), the historian of literature and modern science Frédérique Ait-Touati (CNRS, France), the multimedia artist duo U-Matic & Telematique (Berlin, Germany), the Indigenous scholar, artist, and writer Warren Cariou (Métis) (University of Manitoba, Winnipeg), the Black Canadian poet and scholar Wayde Compton (Douglas College, Vancouver), scholars Elizabeth DeLoughrey  (UCLA),Pallavi Rastogi (Louisiana St. U), Isabelle St. Amand (Queen’s U) and activist-artists Amin Husain and Nitasha Dhillon (Decolonize This Place/MTL Movement, New York).
