The Department of English at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton invites applications for a nine-month contractually limited appointment at the rank of Instructor, effective August 1, 2015. Candidates should have a completed PhD in English literature, with a specialization in the history of the British novel. The successful candidate will teach a combination of introductory English courses, along with two upper-level classes on the British novel (ENGL 3343 and 3443); the teaching load is 3 courses each semester. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required.
