Call for Workshops
We are seeking 4-day workshops on any aspect of digital humanities. Proposals will be selected by the local organizing committee with a view to maintaining the workshops’ emphasis on diversity in the digital humanities, meeting demand for particular topics, and instructor experience and qualifications.
In addition to other topics, for 2026 we are particularly interested in workshops that address some aspects of video game making or studies, data visualization, web design, and UX.
The DH@Guelph Summer Workshops will run over four days, May 19th-22nd, 2026. DHatGuelph covers the cost of travel, residence accommodation, and a modest honorarium for visiting instructors. Note that our budget is limited with a view to keeping participant costs reasonable, so if your expenses will be significant we are unlikely to be able to accept the proposal.
To propose a workshop, please fill in this form.
Applications are due December 15, 2025. We plan to offer a maximum of 10 workshops, so adhering to the deadline is necessary for consideration. You will be notified of results by January 10th, 2026.
If you’d like to see what workshops were offered in the past, please take a look at the 2024 DH@Guelph Summer Workshops. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with ideas for potential workshops at dhguelph@uoguelph.ca in advance of the deadline, if you are curious about what might work!
