Dear ACCUTE Members,

As I noted in my last email, we are pleased to announce that the 2026 ACCUTE annual conference will be held at Concordia University in Montreal, 4-7 June 2026. Please mark those dates in your calendar!

I am writing now to share the Call for Panel Proposals. If you are interested in organizing a panel at next year’s conference, this call is for you! For full instructions on how to submit a panel proposal, please click here.

These calls will be sent out widely and will allow members who wish to organize a panel on a specific topic to reach a broad range of scholars who will send in paper proposals in response to your calls. Your panel proposals will be vetted by the ACCUTE Board. Once accepted we will post the call and share it widely. We will collate the paper proposals received and then the panel organizers will select the papers that are best suited to the proposal topic. Paper proposals not selected for panels will be included in the pool of proposals for potential inclusion in other panels formed after the general open call for papers is made.

Member-organized panels have always contributed significantly to our annual conference program. We encourage members to formulate panels on topics that will provide opportunities for important questions in our field to be addressed and discussed.
