The Creative Writing Collective (CWC) executive is once again organizing a webinar series for the winter 2025 term, and we’d love for you to be involved by proposing a webinar in which you’d participate.

Proposals can be on any topic relating to creative writing: e.g., poetics, process, professional concerns, pedagogy, craft criticism. We particularly welcome proposals that centre anti-racism, decolonization, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Proposals should be 100-200 words. Please also identify 3-4 presenters (after confirming their interest) and a moderator (who can be a panellist, too). These participants need not be ACCUTE members. Diversity among them is highly encouraged. Proposals should be sent to anna.veprinska@ucalgary.ca by October 15, 2024.

Webinar dates/times will be set in consultation with the presenters. Note that if you’re also proposing a panel for the 2025 ACCUTE conference, please don’t propose the same topic for a webinar, but you’re very welcome to propose a webinar on a different topic.
