Congress 2024 is less than three months away, and we are excited to share our 2024 Draft Conference Program. The program will be updated with more information as we approach June 12, with the most current version always available on our website. In addition to our rich panel programming, we also have some of your favourite social events planned, including the CWC Rapid Reading, the ACCUTE Dance Party, and our conference banquet. Banquet tickets are available for $70 each and can be purchased on the Congress registration page.
Congress registration is now open, with the Early Bird deadline fast approaching. Please remember to register by March 31 for the lowest rate. Black and Indigenous students will receive complimentary registration; if you are a member of one of these groups, please contact info.accute@gmail.com to receive your direct link.
Thanks to the generous support of our partners at English Studies in Canada (ESC) and our conference sponsors, ACCUTE is proud to provide partial travel funding for graduate student members and contract academic faculty. This travel funding covers up to 50% of travel costs, excluding accommodation.
Information about accommodation options, campus services, and child care can be found under the Congress 2024 Plan Your Trip tab. If you require financial assistance for child or dependent care during the conference, please let us know so that we can apply for a care subsidy on your behalf.
And if you just can’t wait to get together, please join us virtually this Tuesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. EDT / 12 p.m PDT for the next ACCUTE/CWC Webinar: Poetic Witnessing – Exploring the Black Mediterranean. Details and registration here.
As always, we ask that you ensure your ACCUTE membership is up-to-date so that we can continue to support our diverse community of students and instructors, writers and researchers. We thank you for your ongoing commitment to ACCUTE.
À bientôt!
Your team at ACCUTE
