CFP: Christianity and Literature Study Group 2022 Conference (Deadline Extended: 9 January 2022)

ACCUTE is pleased to announce that The Christianity and Literature Study Group will join us for their annual conference, to be held in Montreal from 12-15 May 2022. They have extended their submissions deadline to 9 January 2022.

The CLSG invites proposals for papers on any aspect of Christianity and literature for its annual spring conference. The CLSG welcomes a range of critical approaches and topics, including pedagogy, multimedia genres, and creative writing. Proposals for panels with alternate formats are particularly welcome.

This revised CFP includes two member-organized panels: Inklings and Philology, and Catholicism in Literature post 1798. For details on these panels, please click here.

For general submissions, please send a 300-500 word proposal (with no identifying marks), a 100 word abstract, and a 50 word biographical statement including contact information and institutional affiliation (if applicable) to both conference organizers, Tina Trigg (The Kings University) tina.trigg@kingsu.ca and Katherine Quinsey (University of Windsor) kateq@uwindsor.ca , no later than 9 January 2022. All CLSG proposals are sent to a minimum of two readers on a blind referee basis, and acceptance is confirmed within a month of submission.

Note: In order to present a paper at the CLSG meeting, you must be a member in good standing of ACCUTE as well as of the CLSG.
