We are thrilled to announce the publication of the latest issue of The Angle.
In this double Spring/Summer issue, you will find an important message from ACCUTE President Gregory Betts, information about Congress 2021, and details about significant upcoming events for our association: a closed-door Meeting of BIPOC ACCUTE members, upcoming on 27 April 2021, and an ACCUTE All-Members Retreat, to be held on 16 June 2021.
We welcome guest contributions from Heather Jessup (Dalhousie University), Julie Rak (University of Alberta), and Kostyn Petrunick (Brock University), who interviewed CBC Canada Reads winner Joshua Whitehead. ACCUTE Board members Concetta Principe and Jennifer Chambers offer their views on the experience of teaching and living through these pivotal times. We are especially pleased to offer you new poetry from Uche Peter Umezurike, Asha Jeffers, and Anna Veprinska. We also invite you to read and reflect on the draft version of ACCUTE’s Equity Statement, to be voted on at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
