The 2021 Marilyn Rose Lecture Series will feature a talk by Dr. Rick Monture (Mohawk, Literary Scholar and Director of the Indigenous Studies Program at McMaster University) entitled “The Indigenous Poetic Resistance of E. Pauline Johnson,” and a dramatic reading of an original play by Monique Mojica (Guna and Rappahannock, Actor and Playwright) entitled “Izzie M: The Alchemy of Enfreakment.”
This event is co-sponsored by the Brock University Department of English, Language, and Literature and Brock University’s Social Justice Research Institute and appears as part of the Marilyn Rose Lecture Series.
