The Department of English and Theatre at Acadia University invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Postcolonial and World Literatures to begin 1 July 2021.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD in English, university teaching experience, and a demonstrated commitment to scholarship. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a strong program of research, participate through teaching and supervision in the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs, and contribute to the intellectual life and service of the university and the broader academic community.
How to Apply: Applications should include a cover letter, current curriculum vitae, a one-page research statement, a writing sample, and teaching dossier (including statement of teaching philosophy, sample syllabi, and relevant evaluation of past teaching performance).
