About the opportunity
The Department of English and the Creative Writing Program at Dalhousie University invite applications for a probationary tenure-track appointment with teaching responsibilities in both the Creative Writing and English programs. Candidates will have a strong background in creative writing, with a specialization in fiction, and a secondary expertise in any area of literary or cultural studies in English. Experience teaching at the university level in both Creative Writing and English is required. The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Candidates will have either an MFA in Creative Writing or a PhD in English and/or Creative Writing by the date of appointment; preference will be given to candidates who hold a PhD. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
