CFP: Association for Canadian Studies in the United States biennial conference (deadline: 15 April 2019)

The submission deadline for proposals to the biennial conference of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) – to be held in Montreal in November 2019 – is fast approaching. We invite proposals on topics with a significant Canadian focus, including comparative inquiries, from graduate students, independent scholars, professors, and practitioners. The co-chairs of the section “Literature, Film, Music, and the Arts in English” encourage you to consider proposing a paper or a panel in any of those fields. (NB: “Literature, Film, Music and the Arts in French” is chaired by Prof Katherine Roberts of Wilfrid Laurier University – karoberts@wlu.ca ).

Proposals are due by 15 April 2019 to Dr. Erin Hurley (erin.hurley@mcgill.ca) and / or Dr. Matthew Smith (smithmi@plattsburgh.edu).
