Description
Division of Arts, Education and Business at Medicine Hat College invites applications for the position of a full-time Instructor of English. This one-year term will commence July 1, 2019 and extend to June 30, 2020.
The full-time teaching load accompanying this position will consist of teaching a variety of diploma and university-level courses in writing and literature. As well, the successful candidate may be required to teach English to students taking such on-campus degree completion programs as Business, Education, Criminal Justice, Nursing, and Visual Communications.
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in English is preferred
- Masters required
- Candidates with an ability to teach Composition and Contemporary Literature are strongly encouraged to apply
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level would be a definite asset
- Equivalent combinations of post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be considered
