Conference: Possible & Impossible Children: Intersections of Children’s Literature and Childhood Studies (July 29-Aug 2 2017, York University)

IRSCL CONGRESS 2017 – EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION UNTIL 13 APRIL 2017

The 23rd Biennial Congress of the International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL), “Possible & Impossible Children: Intersections of Children’s Literature & Childhood Studies,” will take place on Keele Campus, York University, Toronto, Canada, from 29 July to 2 August 2017.  We are planning an exciting program and are expecting 400 delegates from more than 40 countries.

Special “early bird” registration fees are available until 13 April 2017.  Because some accommodation and excursion options are available to limited numbers, everyone is encouraged to take advantage of early registration.

Please visit the IRSCL Congress 2017 Website at http://irscl17.info.yorku.ca/ for full details about registration, travel and accommodation, Congress Dinner, excursions, keynote speakers, and special events for graduate students and junior scholars.

We look forward to seeing many of you in Toronto at the end of July!

Sincerely,

Cheryl Cowdy & Peter Cumming
on behalf of the IRSCL Congress 2017 Organizing Committee
