“It’s all diamond:” Beautiful Losers at 50

A Canadian Literature Symposium

In anticipation of the 50th anniversary of Beautiful Losers in 2016, the University of Ottawa’s Department of English will be hosting a 1-day conference and seminar on Leonard Cohen’s incendiary novel on May 29th, 2015. Papers are invited on any aspect of the novel and its place in Canadian culture. The event will be open to the public and will include a group seminar on the novel led by a leading Cohen scholar (TBA). Space for the seminar is limited to 15 participants.
