Position # 10409 – The Department of English and Theatre at Acadia University invites  applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Canadian Literature and Theory to begin 1 July 2018.

Applicants should have a PhD in English, university teaching experience, and a demonstrated commitment to scholarship. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a strong program of research, participate through teaching and supervision in the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs, and contribute to the intellectual life and service of the university and the broader academic community. Applications should include a cover letter, current curriculum vitae, writing sample, and teaching dossier (including statement of teaching philosophy, sample syllabi, and course evaluations where applicable).
