By way of a follow-up to yesterday’s post about statistics–or the lack thereof–in relation to academic hiring in Canada, we’d like to call everyone’s attention to this release regarding National Adjunct Walkout Day, scheduled for February 25.  The “national” in that name refers to the US, though we know that there will be Canadian participation as well.  We here in the ACCUTE office add our voice of support for our contract academic faculty colleagues to those of our colleagues at CAUT and the MLA (that latter of which is calling for allies to help and to show solidarity).
