Hello members,
The new ACCUTE executive has been discussing ways to expand our regular engagement with our membership. One of the ways we hope to achieve this is through expanding our social media activities and presence. To this end, we invite you to share with us stories from work and life, achievements (big and small), articles, teaching experiences, plus pictures and videos of you in action. This will help keep us connected and aware of the diverse activities we are engaged in as we pursue our work in the study of literature. We have prepared the following submission form specifically for this purpose. Please use it (as many times as you like), to send us content for the ACCUTE socials feed (which has now been expanded to include X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram):

Don’t be shy! Please send us your stories and images whenever you can.
Other exciting news on the communications front:
This fall we will be launching a new series of interviews with ACCUTE members called #PresentingACCUTE.
Since we now know that scores of panels and papers that were not presented in Montreal this past summer will be returning for presentation at the ACCUTE conference in 2025, the first phase of this series will feature short interviews with members who will be presenting work at the 2025 conference. These short interviews will give participants the opportunity to provide a teaser of the work they’ll be presenting, and to situate it in the context of their wider projects and passions. The #PresentingACCUTE series will then continue as a regular series designed to publish the profiles and activities of members throughout the year.
The aim is to share and celebrate all of the great things our members do, to learn more about each other, and to create a perpetual buzz around ACCUTE and the upcoming conference. It’s also a long-term plan to attract new members to our association, and to get the word out there.
We will begin reaching out to individual members for interviews very soon, so please keep an eye out for the invitation. We want to hear what you’re thinking and doing. We hope you will participate!
With thanks, and looking forward,
Gladwell Pamba, ACCUTE Communications
