Assistant Professor, Department of English, College of Arts, Social and Health Sciences One-Year Term
The University of Northern British Columbia invites applications for a Term position in the Department of English at the rank of Assistant Professor, with a proposed starting date of July 1, 2020. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching lower-division and upper-division courses for the department. These may include the following a writing and communication skills course, an introductory literature or film course, as well as third of fourth-year courses in areas such as fantastic literature, children’s literature, Victorian literature or postcolonial literature.
Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. in English (or related discipline) and have evidence of a record and commitment towards teaching excellence.
